Swadini is landlocked by the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve and nestled amongst the Drakensberg peaks, on the banks of the Blyde River. The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency will temporarily close the entry gates to Swadini at Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve from 11 March to 10 June 2024 due to filming that will be taking place.
